ModDb MOTYs

They’ve come round again.  There are numerous categories but one I want to draw your attention to is the best unreleased mod.  The mod in question is Tactical Assault.  Remember Tac Ops on UT99?  Imagine that on the UT3 engine.

They need your mouse click on their ModDB page and you should also pop over to the TA site to see all the progress they’ve been making.

Unreal in UT3 Clothes

This could become a reality.  Think of it as Unreal Source, only better.  If you’re interested in helping with this then please head on over to this thread posted at the Beyond Unreal forums.  All skill sets required level designers, coders, texture artists, modellers, musicians etc.  Even if you have no skills, ideas are always welcome as is feedback.

Quite a few people are already coming up with ideas on this.  It’s a big project but it will be worth it to see Unreal in UT3’s excellent engine.

Sir_Brizz over at Beyond Unreal posted an announcement over at BU forums recently.  In it he explains the recent down time.  It’s good to see the old UT stalwart is still going.

Shouldn’t think so but it does seem to have gone off-line.  Hopefully that isn’t permanent.

If you need a forum to chat in in the mean time you could try UTU’s rather empty forums.

DM-Quatro2 Update

I have updated DM-Quatro2 to correct an issue with the skydome not showing on the lower detail settings.  This is the only change to the map. The PS3 version is unaffected by this.
