Thanks :)

11th December, 2008

I’m glad people are enjoying the reviews and also big thanks to those who have downloaded Quatro2. I hope you’re enjoying that also.

Also big thanks to hal at Beyond Unreal and RaptoR at Planet Unreal for all the news posts and pimpage.

The next map will be a VCTF with a totally new, custom theme.  I don’t want to say anything more just yet but I will keep posting updates (as well as reviews of course).

Please keep submitting the maps for review though. The one in the list will be done by this weekend.
Thanks for the support
😀

More Reviews Soon

15th November, 2008

I’ve been catching up with the queue and there’s only one more review to write.  Once that’s done I’ll post them.

Thanks for the comments on Quatro.  There are also beta threads over at Beyond Unreal and Planet Unreal.

Keep the ideas coming 😀

Many Thanks.

Quatro Update

11th November, 2008

I wanted to post a beta version of Quatro but it’s not quite ready yet.

Thanks to RaptoR for posting the news about the reveiews over at Planet Unreal

Sorry about the dead link yesterday.  It should work fine now.

All the best

RSI.

18th October, 2008

I think I’m developing permanent cramp not to mention RSI that will take days to calm down.  I’ve never typed so much before.  All good stuff though and it won’t be long until I’ve finished the CBP3 Vol2 pack.  It’s great that there is interest building in this site BTW; Keep those map subs coming.

The Unreal community seems to be coming alive recently.  More and more custom stuff appearing.

Have a browse here at the BeyondUnreal forums and you’ll soon see what I mean.  Try a single player mod for UT3, Prometheus.

Thanks to RaptoR over at PlanetUnreal for pimping again.

Till then

Onwards and Upwards

7th October, 2008

Planet Unreal has now pimped the site, thank you to Raptor.  I’ve finished two reviews but I’ll post them tomorrow as it’s late now. Or I might write a third and post a the day after.  Hmm

It’s great to get the feedback I’ve been getting.  Gives me ideas.  It’s a shame UTU is the only active map review site though.  Have a go yourself and lets get the community going again.  You don’t have to be into UT3 specifically.  Anything Unreal is cool.

Keep those map subs coming in. 🙂

Till then

Non-UT related link.  Cool Samuri game with an ingenious combat system.

So far, So Good.

2nd October, 2008

Most people seem to like the reviews so far and they’ll be a couple more over the next couple of days as well.  Thanks to hal at Beyond Unreal and RaptoR at Planet Unreal for the supportive news posts.  also big thanks to all the other news sites and supporters who’ve spread the word.

I have been undecided as to whether or not to review UT99 and 2k4 maps as well.  Then I thought it wouldn’t be “Unlimited” if I didn’t.  I’ll still review them in the order they’re posted regardless of game.  If the queue gets too long then I’ll ask for help.  You can apply to be a reviewer anytime by the way.

I’ve added RSS feed to the right and you can also get updates via email as well if you want.

The forums are still looking a little bare and empty. ;D

Again, thanks for all the support.  With your help this site will go from strength to strength.

Till then

One Small Step Closer

9th September, 2008

(originally posted at my old blog)

I’ve had an offer of help to re-start UT Unlimited. Big thanks to you :D. This is obviously encouraging and I will, of course, tell you more as it develops. If you think you can help then please get in touch.

When we get a rough beta of the site I’ll preview it as soon as possible. My head’s full of ideas but I need to get them on screen.

DMQuatro ’08 is growing. I’m at the mesh stage. Adding these things takes longer than it should because I’m still learning where things are. But progress is progress and that’s always good.

I want to say a big thanks to all those who remember UT Unlimited. It seems you guys have long memories. Thanks also to hal at Beyond Unreal and RaptoR over at Planet Unreal for the pimpage. I’ve also noticed that other sites carried the news as well. Thanks to them also.

Might have some screens tomorrow if all goes well.
